Drummond Island

We had a tough time at Drummond.  We struggled with setup for most of the day.  Couldn't get any bite on the hard lake ice.  Never got a holeshot and finished between 3rd and 6th for the most part.  Still pretty good, but not as good as we know we can do.  By the end of the day we had the setups alittle closer to what we wanted.  I qualified 2nd for the 50 lapper and Kev qualified 5th.  I jumped out front right away and led everylap of the race, but almost not the last one.  Kev was running pretty good in 4th but thought he heard something break in the rear skid so he pulled off the track.   

We qualified 7th for sunday.  stripped out a suspension bolt before the start of the race and had to retap it.  It was freezing rain so my superseer iced over and then my googles.  On lap 11 our right hand spindle sheared off in turn four, but they ended up callling the race a couple laps later because of the freezing rain.  It is rescheduled for next saturday at 2pm.
