here we go again
originally my plan was to buy a fox zero shock, shorten it and use it to fix my rear suspension problem. the problem was that the shock bottomed before the rubber bumpers hit. thats a for-sure shock failure if that happens. anyway got it, shortened it and tried to put it back together. problem: the new shorter shock body with the same stroke leaves no room for the IFP. solution: remote reservior. couldnt find the remote anywhere except new for $170. i may be the king of overkill but with racing i try not to let money fly out the window very often. so i made my own from the piece left over from the original fox zero shock i had shortened. it looked great and only cost the price of a brake line hose, 2 fittings and 2 snap rings. cost around $25. i built the rest. i was pretty excited till the very next day i found one on ebay. i arranged a buy it now with the guy and got it for $60. the one on ebay also had a compression adjuster, they are kindof handy. he said hed ship it saturday so hopefully its here next week. the one that i built is going on ebay maybe ill recoup some racing money. THEN THE #05 SLED WILL BE DONE.![]()
