heres how it started. i worked very hard all summer to create one the best sleds that has ever left our shop. i made improvements like moving the front heat exchanger to the rear, 116" camoplast 9996 track (a $1044 value), pure teflon hyfax ($50ea uncut), lightweight accord racing razor studs (free :) ), 10t extrovert drivers, and more. heres where the problem occurs, last year we had test ice much sooner than usual. my sled had been done for 2 weeks and the ice was blown clean. we decided to go out to otis lake with some cones and do some testing.
